Brand journalism is an increasingly popular trend in brand communication. It's based on the assumption that the story of a major brand can't be told in a single advertising spot, but has to be continuous and spread over multiple channels. Brand journalism is a way for a brand to communicate, that allows to tell its story over time.
This is precisely the idea behind the recently launched Spotify brand journal. It serves as a technological hub, integrating all the content published by the brand in various channels - from press releases, through blog posts, up to social media and video content.
